Ringers, there and back again.
Today we had a super fun Ringers reunion in a city with a name also called Mordor.lol.
We watched the 720p Fellowship of the Ring on the big screen. Since I was still in primary school when it was on screen, didn’t have the chance to watch it in the theatre, nor did I know anything of it back then. And all the Ringer friends are like 3 to 5 years older than me. But it doesn’t matter, cuz for most of us, the crush on LOTR started in Senior high school. I still remember how I spent days and nights watching the trilogy on my laptop or TV. None of them could compare with the big screen tho.
I found most of us had quite a lot in common. And I still remember those friends that I got to know through LOTR in high school, on our BBS, we all shared great memories discussing the plot, bugs, funny stories behind the scene, and our love and passion for that Middle Earth world. I guess sometimes we all need a vent to escape the reality, or even more- I think for some of us, it’s a combination of both the imaginary world the this one we’re living in. The friendship, loyalty, courage, persistence of the fellowship, and the fear and regret, weakness that they came over with, are exactly what we’re pursuing or coming across. I felt quite a big echo in the heart when Frodo said, I which all this would never happen. I wish the ring never come to me. Sometimes, you could say it’s all fate. Well then, don’t complain or do stupid things to cover the fact that you’re bearing it. Go ahead and take it with you, if that’s what you have to take along.
Stay calm and simply walk into Mordor!!
